Our story
We started in 2015 as a tiny team in Covington, Louisiana, on our founder’s mother-in-law's front porch. We had a few cheap laptops and a vision: data can be a detriment or a strength depending on how you manage it.
Our collective experience centered around helping organizations digitize documents, and untangle kinks in their business processes.
We assembled a team of industry experts and a technology stack that help make managing documents and data simple for clients.
Our company was born on May 11, 2015 on this front porch.
The beginning of our service bureau in Abita Springs, LA.
A service bureau is formed
We found an office location in nearby Abita Springs. Our team worked together to build a service bureau to handle scanning projects for government agencies in the Gulf South. We handcrafted scanning stations and built out a network of scanners, PCs, and servers.
During our first few years, we completed scanning projects for clients in Louisiana and Mississippi primarily focusing on backfile conversion for government agencies.
Our service offerings expanded to include high-volume indexing, redaction, records preservation, and digital mailroom solutions.
Our software and consulting division grew up
In the beginning, our software division was comprised of 3 engineers. We had a small group of software clients using AppEnhancer and Intelligent Capture. Our engineers worked around the clock implementing and supporting our clients.
As our install base grew, so did our team. We added technical resources for support, development, and business process consulting.

Revolution Data Systems (RDS) has come a long way since its humble beginnings. Today, we have a team of experts from coast to coast that helps organizations simplify and automate their business processes and make their data work for them.
