OpenText AppWorks and AppEnhancer

Many of our clients have their hands on the release notes for ApplicationXtender 20.4 - which was re-branded as Application Content Management before it was re-re-branded as AppEnhancer (you’ll see the branding change across our site and OpenText’s in the coming months). Outside of OpenText playing musical chairs with its product names, they also delivered on some major promises to clients and companies like us that have been supporting, selling, and building applications on the product since it was OTG.

One of the promises was to modernize the workflow capabilities. They hit the mark with flying colors by building a two-way connector to OpenText AppWorks.

AppEnhancer and AppWorks

For many years, ApplicationXtender users have been using AX Workflow Manager (AXWFM) for business process management. We are excited to see AXWFM ride off into the sunset and be replaced by a shiny new star. Users can manage AE documents in AppWorks and synchronize entity data as application documents in AE Web Access. See the integration guide for AE and AppWorks to learn how the connection works.

Replacing AX Workflow Manager with AppWorks
